Teriyaki Jackfruit

This is my favorite jackfruit recipe I have trie. It’s easy, savory, and delightful. i bought teriyaki sauce, but you can make your own. Serve with rice, lentils, quinoa, salad, or seaweed.


Serves 2 Time 25 minutes

Ingredients

- 1 Large Can Jackfruit

- 1/2 cup Teriyaki Sauce

Serve with

- Rice, Lentils, Quinoa

- Seaweed Salad

- Vegetables

- Chives and Green Onions


Directions

1. Heat a pan to low-medium heat.

2. Drain and rinse Jackfruit. Chop the pieces into strips from the hard part out.

3. Add Jackfruit to pan, cover, and cook for 10 minutes with 1/4 cup water.

4. Add teriyaki sauce, stir, and cover. Cook for 10 minute. Stirring occasionally.

5. Turn to low. Roughly stir breaking up the pieces. Cook until the sauce is complete absorbed.

6. Served with grains or lentils, chives and green onion, seaweed salad, and salad. Enjoy!
