Chocolate Avocado Maca Truffles

These are a delicious and healthy way to add a bit of maca into your diet. Maca is energy boosting, hormone-regulating, stress reducing, aphrodisiac, mood elevating, and improves brain function. These are so fudgy and decadente, but healthy. These aren't super sweet, but you can up the sweetener or more dates if you like them sweeter. Have fun with this recipe, add in cayanne or chocolate chips to make it your own.


Makes 16 balls Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

- 1 Avocado

- 1/4 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder + more for rolling

- 3-5 Dates

- 2 Tbsp Peanut Butter

- 2 Tbsp Maca Powder

- 1 Tsp Vanilla Extract

- 1 Tbsp coconut Flour

- Dash of Salt


Directions

1) Soak dates in a 1/3 cup of water for 15 minutes. Blend until pureed and no chuncks remain.

2) Add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.

3) Scoop out a heaping 1/2 tbsp of mix and roll in cocoa powder.

4) Store and fridge and enjoy!
