Immunity Oats

Immunity boosting oatmeal! 😷There’s a flu going around where I live so I’m giving giving my immune system a boost to help fight it off. I infused it with green tea to add flavor and the benefits.

Vitamin C from the fruit, carbs from the oats, and anti inflammatory spices will surely give you a nice boost.

Ingredients

1 cup water steeped with green tea

1/2 Tbsp Chia or flax seeds

1 tsp turmeric

1/4 tsp cardamom

1/8 tsp cayanne

1 banana

1 tbsp ginger

1 orange

1 Tbsp coconut

1 Tbsp nut butter


Directions

1. Boil water and steep green tea for five minutes.

2. Bring tea back to a simmer on low heat and add oats, spices, chia or flax, and banana.

3. Cook on low heat for 10 minutes stirring occasionally or until its to your desired consistency.

4. Top with orange, coconu, nut butter, and banana. Enjoy!
